出走必睇：「平安藥」小貼士 Tips for Travelling with Medication
港人熱愛旅遊，而不少人去旅行時，都喜歡帶一些「平安藥」，究竟「平安藥」有沒有甚麼要注意的地方呢？出走前記得要留意以下 4 點：
Hong Kong people love travelling abroad. It is very common for people to carry some “stand-by medications” for their journey. However, are there any particular precautions that we need to be aware of when packing “stand-by medications”? Make sure you consider the following points before you travel:
1. 選擇排裝藥物
Choosing Blister Packed Medications
一來方便攜帶，二來通常有較久的過期日子，說不定能放到下次旅行的日子呢！
Not only is it easier to carry around, blister packed medications usually have longer expiry date. It may be kept for a longer period of time and might be stored up to your next journey!
2. 注意同行長者小孩的用藥
Medications for Elderly and Kids
若是一家大小出遊，記得詢問藥劑師有關於小朋友用藥的劑量以及患有長期疾病的長者的服藥注意事項，有些｢平安藥」可能不適合某些長期病患服用的！
If you are travelling with family, make sure you consult your pharmacist regarding the dosage and precaution for kids and elderly with chronic illnesses before your journey. Keep in mind that some “stand-by medications” might not be suitable for people with chronic illnesses.
3. 購買藥物以外的「平安產品」
“Stand-by Items” other than Medications
視乎你的目的地，帶備合適的蚊怕水及防曬產品也是非常重要的，若不懂怎樣選擇或使用，都應該諮詢藥劑師的意見。
Depending on your destination, it is very important that you bring the suitable sunscreen and insects repellent. You can always consult your pharmacist if you have any inquires on how to choose or use them.
4. 留意當地最新情況
Keep an Eye on the Local Updates
出走前，密切留意目的地的最新情況，了解當地有否傳染病爆發，並向醫生查詢預防措施。
Before you travel, make sure you keep an eye on any local updates such as any infectious disease outbreak. Consult your doctor for any precautionary measure.
