Housed in Florence, Italy, NESTI DANTE has been crafting luxurious artisanal soaps using the traditional Italian method of saponification for over 70 years. Each Nesti Dante soap is formulated with quality, purity and integrity without compromise. Only pure whole plants oils from sustainable cultivation. No mineral oils, no parabens or aggressive ingredients. Vegan-friendly, no animal ingredients or testing - ever. Free from petrochemicals, sulphates, synthetic surfactants, parabens and glycols. Unlike most soap producers where they add fragrance and colour to soap base purchased from Indonesia and Malaysia - Nesti Dante produces their own from scratch with the time-honoured practice using only the finest quality natural active ingredients and premium oils, organic wherever possible. To make the perfect soap base, large cauldrons are used to blend the soap paste over a period of 4 days to remove impurities. It will then be rested for 24 hours to eliminate glycerine. The removal of glycerine results in a soap that is highly fragrant and compact soap that does not make any "mush" in the soap dish. Nesti Dante soaps are also rolled three times (triple milled) - a high-level refining method for that smooth, perfect finish. Made with love and care in Florence, Italy since 1947.
